I mentioned yesterday that I stopped by Aman’s Farm & Market to buy a new pot for my African Violet. I failed to mention I saw an extremely cool planter on sale on my way to check out.
This year for Nurse’s Week I was given the choice between chocolate and an African Violet. I did not anticipate the possibility of ending up with chocolate and luckily received the last violet!
Another thing I did not anticipate was just how well I would take care of it. It was time for a new pot. Off to Aman’s Farm & Market I went for a new pot and supplies.
Today I felt compelled to comment on a reddit.com/r/flower post involving the Trumpet Creeper. A redditor mentioned they were thinking about planting one of these mischievous plants. This plant actually has warning videos on YouTube (Thanks Mike from Plight to Freedom).
Read on to hear my cautionary tale.
Nurse David here. I have decided to move on from my previous blog, There is Another Way to Live.
Although one of the major themes here will be alternative mindsets, TIAWTL was meant to be a collaborative effort that after almost a year didn’t come to fruition.
Through, Nurse David (a working title) I will chronicle my adventure into population heath nursing and all the other interests I have to balance work and life. In no particular order, some of those interests are flower gardening, soccer, music/concerts, shoes, and deviating from any societal norm that doesn’t lead to personal fulfillment.
